Maserati once again lived to the expectations. The brand recently unveiled an exquisite piece - the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello. Maserati built it as inspired by a one-off based on its electric convertible. Reminiscent of wine, this bespoken Mesarati was created for the 50th anniversary of the Tignanello wine.

So, this luxurious vehicle will soon put its beauty to good use.  As reported by Electrek, paying homage to Italy's renowned wine craftsmanship, the distinctive Maserati BEV was crafted as a tribute to Tignanello wine through a partnership with Marchesi Antinori.

This exceptional Maserati GranCabrio Folgore stands out as the third electric model in the Trident brand's lineup transition towards complete electrification.

Riding on Maserati's advanced 800V platform, this electric convertible duo boasts three potent electric motors, delivering impressive performance capabilities. Maserati once again lived to the expectations. The brand recently unveiled an exquisite piece - the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello. Maserati built it as inspired by a one-off based on its electric convertible. Reminiscent of wine, this bespoken Mesarati was created for the 50th anniversary of the Tignanello wine.

In response to this inspiration, the Maserati team has meticulously crafted a one-of-a-kind custom edition of the fully electric convertible, drawing creative influence from the essence of Tignanello wine, encompassing its vineyards, cellars, and distinctive label design. This bespoke creation exemplifies the fusion of automotive artistry with the rich heritage and aesthetics of the renowned Italian wine, resulting in a unique and captivating interpretation of luxury and sophistication.

As highlighted in Robb Report, the electric vehicle's sleek exterior boasts a distinctive Terra di Tignanello finish, reminiscent of the vineyard's earthy tones. This unique color choice is complemented by copper accents, sleek black alloy wheels, and a stylish black convertible top.

Inside the cockpit of this high-performance convertible, four luxurious leather seats are adorned with intricate silver and burgundy patterned inserts, resembling the vineyard rows of Tignanello.

The interior further showcases elegant dark briar wood detailing, door panels, and headrests intricately embroidered with a fusion emblem of the Maserati trident and the sun motif from the Tignanello label. Notably, this emblem, alongside the significant years 1971 to 2021, is expertly laser-etched onto the central console, adding a touch of exclusivity to the interior design.

Despite maintaining the EV's original powertrain configuration, the tri-motor setup delivers an impressive total output of 818 horsepower and 996 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in a swift 2.8 seconds, this convertible achieves a remarkable top speed of 180 mph while offering a driving range of approximately 233 miles. While specific pricing details remain undisclosed, it is anticipated that the unique Tignanello-inspired Maserati GranCabrio Folgore may surpass its base price of $206,995.As per CarScoops, in an exclusive auction event set to take place on July 14 at the esteemed Arts for All Gala during the Festival Napa Valley in California, the sole Maserati GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello edition worldwide will be up for bidding, with all proceeds generously contributing to charitable causes.
