The 2025 Audi Q8 RS Performance stands out as the swiftest SUV on the Nürburgring's Nordschleife, with Audi's racing and development driver, Frank Stippler, achieving a remarkable time of 7:36:698 minutes on the 12.94-mile track, surpassing the previous record by over two seconds.

Reported by CarScoops, Audi emphasizes that this marks the zenith of their series-produced combustion engines, highlighting significant enhancements to the RS Q8 Performance's exhaust system for a more aggressive auditory experience.

Both RS Q8 variants feature an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Additionally, they are equipped with a mechanical center differential and adaptive air suspension capable of altering the ride height by up to 90 mm (3.5 inches).

The RS Q8 also has notable aesthetics aside from the promising performance it gives to the table.

As reported by CarBuzz, the latest RS Q8 distinguishes itself aesthetically from its predecessor and lower-tier Q8 and SQ8 variants through a redesigned front bumper with updated air intakes. The iconic honeycomb grille now showcases high gloss black and matte gray for the performance model trim, establishing the RS Q8 as the pinnacle of the lineup. At the rear, the presence of two oval tailpipes signifies the SUV's position, accompanied by a new diffuser featuring a reflector to enhance the sporty appeal of the rear fascia. New color options, including Ascari Blue, Chili Red, and Sakhir Gold, further add a touch of vibrancy to the range.
