Presenting Evoluto 355

Looking from the outside, the Evoluto 355 promises a ride in style and a thrilling experience behind the wheels. Ian Callum crafted both the interior and exterior of Evoluto 355.

As reported by Road & Track the Evoluto 355 takes inspiration from the classic Ferrari F355 produced from 1994 to 1999, but it goes beyond mere aesthetics. Notably, it embraces a carbon fiber exterior, enhancing the structural integrity through reinforced carbon elements on the steel frame, purportedly increasing torsional rigidity by 23%.

Weighing in at a target of 2,750 pounds in its most streamlined form, the Evoluto stands over 400 lbs lighter than its predecessor, promising a dynamic and agile driving experience.

Sporting a wider stance compared to its predecessor, the Evoluto showcases a plethora of additional air intakes and vents that enhance both its aesthetics and performance. The exterior aesthetics bear the signature touch of Callum, ensuring a blend of elegance and functionality. Notably, the iconic pop-up headlights have been retained and are now upgraded with advanced LED technology for improved illumination.

Furthermore, the wheels boast a larger diameter, measuring 19 inches, and are crafted from forged alloy to complement the overall design and optimize handling capabilities.

Mechanical Details

The Evoluto masterpiece now boasts an impressive power output of 420 hp, delivering a symphony of engine notes that crescendo at a thrilling 8,500 rpm. As noted by CarBuzz, while specific torque details remain undisclosed, the focus on lightweight construction ensures a dynamic driving experience, enticing enthusiasts to push the unassisted V8 engine to its redline with zeal.

By strategically incorporating carbon fiber components into vital structural areas and adopting a carbon fiber body, Evoluto enhances torsional rigidity by a notable 23%, underlining its dedication to performance excellence. Notably, prospective owners are required to provide their own F355 donor car, respecting the heritage of Maranello's revered automaker without explicitly invoking the Ferrari name.

With a projected total weight of merely 2,755 lbs, the Evoluto promises remarkable agility, complemented by Brembo brakes with optional carbon CCMR enhancements for enhanced stopping capabilities.

TopGear added a bespoke wiring system and internally developed electronic infrastructure setting, the stage for seamless functionality within Evoluto. The six-speed manual transmission undergoes meticulous refinement to enhance precision and responsiveness, ensuring an engaging driving experience.

At the forefront, Brembo equips the Evoluto with six-piston brakes, while four-pot calipers grace the rear, offering optimal stopping power. Complementing these performance upgrades are custom 19-inch forged alloy wheels, emphasizing both style and performance prowess.

TopGear also shared that Darren McDermott, the executive chair of the DRVN Automotive Group, expressed that the 355 by Evoluto initiative pays homage to the timeless heritage of an esteemed Italian supercar while providing clientele with a bespoke customization experience tailored to each unique commission.
