Jeep Compass First Look: Next-Gen Compact SUV Flaunts ‘More Athletic’ Figure in Teaser Sketch

Jeep has teased the look of its newest compact SUV.
Jeep is looking forward to focusing on its new-generation Compass amid the Cherokee vehicle's absence. Jeep has provided a glimpse of the model, which appeared more "athletic" in its exterior, according to Car and Driver.
The carmaker revealed that the next-generation Compass will be manufactured at Stellantis's STLA Medium platform. The vehicle will be available in gas, hybrid and electric. Its wheelbase reportedly ranges from 106 to 114 inches.

Regarding performance capabilities, the vehicle is incorporated with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder capable of 200 horsepower, and is accompanied by an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. The vehicle achieved 60 mph in just 7.5 seconds in a test, according to the outlet.
Meanwhile, an advanced AWD system will be added to the Trailhawk, which equips a crawl gear and an extra drive mode. The car has an estimated price of $27,495 to $33,990 and production will start in Italy in 2025. By 2026, manufacturing will continue in North America.
