Audi is set to unveil over 20 new vehicles by 2025, commencing with the A5 series. The brand creates anticipation with a preview of the upcoming A5 model before its July 16 launch, alongside glimpses of the A6 E-Tron and third-generation Q5 models, promising an exciting lineup ahead.
In 2021, Audi declared its intention to discontinue the sale of internal combustion engine (ICE) models after 2033. CEO Gernot Döllner further confirmed in 2023 that the production of the last gas-powered vehicle is slated for 2026. Audi is set to introduce over 20 new or revised electric models by 2025, with the debut of the Q6 e-tron among the planned releases. The company aims to achieve parity in revenue generated from electric vehicles and ICE models by the end of the decade. Audi's progressive approach stands in contrast to other automakers such as Mercedes-Benz, who intend to persist in the production of ICE vehicles.
