Audi has taken a significant step into Formula One (F1) by acquiring the Sauber team, marking its commitment to the sport. The move solidifies Audi's position as the primary team for the Swiss-based outfit starting in 2026. Andreas Seidl will lead the new Audi team, with Oliver Hoffmann overseeing the development of its new power unit.
