General Motors (GM) has issued a critical warning to Pontiac Vibe owners, urging them to stop driving due to dangerous Takata airbag inflator issues. Approximately 11,000 affected Vibe units in the United States are at risk of exploding inflators, posing grave threats to occupants.
Toyota has issued a "Do Not Drive" warning to owners of 50,000 older vehicles in the U.S. due to a potentially deadly airbag inflator issue. These vehicles include certain Corolla, Corolla Matrix, and RAV4 models from 2003-2005 equipped with Takata airbag inflators, which have been linked to numerous deaths and injuries.
