Honda is set to make a momentous debut at CES 2024 by unveiling its highly-anticipated global EV series. Honda's US electric vehicle lineup is restricted to the Prologue crossover, but this new series will increase it. Honda is determined to making a big impact in electric mobility, but the EV lineup is still a secret.

New Venture for Honda

This announcement is surprising given Honda's recent split from General Motors on their inexpensive electric SUV project. However, Honda's choice to present a whole range of electric vehicles at CES shows its commitment to the electric future.

In addition to the EV series, Honda hopes to offer revolutionary technologies to reach 100% zero-emission status by 2024. The teaser image suggested that at least one idea in the series may follow the retro-futuristic design style of electric vehicles like the Kia EV5.

However, the exact appearance and specifications of these vehicles remain a mystery until their official unveiling at CES. Honda is committed to carbon neutrality by 2050 and plans to debut 30 new EV models worldwide by 2030 and sell 2 million EVs.

In North America, Honda is setting a bold timeline for EV introductions, aiming for 100% zero-emission automobile sales by 2040, encompassing both battery electric and fuel cell electric vehicles. The global debut of their EV series at CES 2024 marks a pivotal step toward achieving these ambitious environmental goals.

Such action aligns with the new global brand slogan, "The Power of Dreams - How we move you." The slogan describes how Honda's products and services will "transcend various constraints such as time and place" and to "augment their abilities and possibilities.
