Recent reports confirm that the automaker, responding to heightened interest, has extended the deadline to the end of March. Strong Demand: Audi R8 Production Extended for a Few Months

In a positive turn of events for Audi's supercar enthusiasts, the company has decided to prolong production in response to the heightened demand. This extension allows enthusiasts to revel in the exciting prospect of owning the Audi R8 for a little while longer, with the new deadline now set at the end of March.

As reported in The Drive, Audi R8 production extended for a few months. A spokesperson affirmed that the last Audi R8 will roll off the production line by the end of the first quarter in 2024.

This milestone marks the conclusion of production for the iconic sports car at the Audi Böllinger Höfe facility in Neckarsulm. Moving forward, the production focus at Böllinger Höfe will be directed towards the all-electric Audi e-tron GT.
The fashionable supercar witnessed a twofold increase in sales during its ultimate production year. Records indicate that 631 units were reportedly sold in the U.S. in 2023, a notable surge from the 314 sold in 2022. It remains uncertain whether all these orders have been fulfilled and if the extended production period aims to fulfill new orders or address a potential backlog.
