Introducing the Milano EV by Alfa Romeo, a name embroiled in controversy as Italy opposes its usage due to production in Poland. This dispute stems from strict regulations prohibiting Italian-sounding names for products made abroad. Despite marketing investments, a name change post-launch could prove costly for the Stellantis-owned brand.
Alfa Romeo debuts Milano, its first electric car, featuring options for electric and internal combustion engines. The Veloce flagship EV leads with 237 horsepower. Positioned as an entry-level crossover, Milano offers a sleek design, digital instrument cluster, and four-wheel drive. Scheduled for European release, no North American launch is planned.
