Hyundai Motor America is presently testing what looks to be the finished production version of the upcoming 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz on the road as part of its development process. With first customer deliveries scheduled for the fall in the US market, the much awaited facelift is set to debut in the next summer season.

2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz on the Table

With the recent sightings of the Santa Cruz during public road tests, it becomes evident that substantial updates are in the works, aimed at ensuring its competitiveness against rivals such as Ford's Maverick and the Honda Ridgeline. The expected launch timeframe for the facelift is set for the summer, followed by the commencement of customer deliveries in the United States market during the fall.

According to the latest update from DaxStreet and observations made by KindelAuto, the prototype of the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz is heavily camouflaged, showcasing significant redesigns to elements such as the front grille, bumper, and headlights. Notably, alterations to the rear bumper and lights are also discernible, albeit concealed by the camouflage.

Additionally, the interior, shrouded in camouflage, hints at minor enhancements compared to previous models, potentially indicating that Hyundai may adopt a layout similar to the updated Tucson, featuring a range of physical buttons for improved functionality.

Changes to the rear bumper are also evident, and it seems that the South Korean automaker has applied its expertise to the rear lights, although discerning these details is challenging due to the camouflage. Furthermore, the dashboard, concealed under a camouflage blanket, indicates subtle enhancements compared to the 2024 and preceding models, promising an evolved interior experience.

As reported by CarScoops, Hyundai has infused the Santa Cruz with a more pronounced, square-off facial expression, representing an evolution of the automaker's Parametric Design philosophy. Notable modifications encompass redesigned bumpers, a faux skid plate, and a revamped headlamp configuration, where the low-mount headlamps and upper grille embody new Parametric elements, elevating the vehicle's futuristic visual appeal.
