Autoevolution's findings reveal that, excluding the destination charge, a traditional gas-powered Sorento can be obtained for just $31,990 in May 2024. Opting for the hybrid model with all-wheel drive will cost $38,690, while the newly introduced AWD-only PHEV starts at $47,990 for the EX trim level.

With a destination charge of $1,375 factored in, acquiring a 2025 Kia Sorento Plug-In Hybrid will amount to almost $50K. Potential buyers are also offered the SX Prestige model, which comes at a premium of $5,100 compared to its lower-priced counterpart.

Before delving into the standard equipment, let's delve into the powertrain, fuel efficiency, and effectiveness aspects. Like the hybrid variant, the plug-in hybrid version utilizes a 1.6-liter turbo engine instead of the 2.5-liter engine found in the non-assisted Sorento, available in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged options.

This variant is equipped with standard all-wheel drive, a mircosuede headliner, ventilated front seats, and a unique curved panoramic screen housing two 12.3-inch displays.
