It's difficult to miss it on the race track with its oozing color and the label G70 written on its body. But there's more about it aside from its eye-catching color. According to CarBuzz' report, this initiative is set to operate for a minimum of three years, aligning with the standard commitment expected from all Ring Taxi operators.

Operators secure their slots at the renowned Green Hell through a competitive blind auction process, ensuring an exciting and dynamic presence at the iconic Nurburgring circuit. CarBuzz shared details of its experience riding the G70 Track Taxi.

The track presents a thrilling challenge with its 73 corners, significant elevation changes spanning 984 feet, and exhilarating jumps- an actual test of endurance and skill for any driver. From the passenger seat, the onlooker witnesses an intense yet gratifying experience devoid of any concerns about a queasy stomach during the rapid lap.

Previous riders have not been as lucky, underscoring the challenging essence of the course. Despite its reputation for abundant amenities and premium attributes, the Genesis G70 demonstrates its performance prowess on the brutal Nurburgring, establishing itself as a formidable contender on the global stage of demanding tracks.

About the Car, G70

A detailed report by CarScoops discussed the enhancements and features of the G70 Track Taxi. Collaborating with the Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Centre in Russelsheim, Genesis has fine-tuned the suspension and dampers to elevate performance standards.

In an attempt to mitigate overheating concerns on the track, engineers implemented additional brake ducts and heat shields on the transmission oil cooling lines. Partnering with Michelin, the Track Taxi now boasts high-performance Pilot Sport 4S tires for improved traction.

While no direct performance alterations were made to the Korean sedan, Genesis opted for the robust turbocharged 3.3-liter T-GDi engine, delivering a commendable 368 hp (274 kW / 373 PS) and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque.

Good Wood Road & Racing has disclosed that the Ring Taxi initiative will kick off this summer, offering rides on weekends and public holidays. The pricing structure begins at €120 for a single passenger, with rates increasing to €160 for two individuals and €180 for three, promoting cost-effective group experiences.

Participants can take pride in supporting a charitable cause, as all earnings generated from the Ring Taxi operation will be directed towards a charitable organization to be determined.

The review highlighted that participants are not required to wear helmets or overalls; instead, they will be provided with a sickness bag for convenience. Additionally, the report offered insights into the ride encounter.

Upon exiting through the traditional tourist lap entrance, individuals immediately sense the heightened sense of urgency and captivating auditory experience provided by the G70, even from the passenger's vantage point, setting it apart as a more engaging and intriguing option compared to similar offerings in the UK.
