Aston Martin revealed the upcoming launch of its limited- edition sportscar - the Valiant. The British car manufacturer made the announcement on Wednesday. The company presents this innovative and luxurious vehicle promising a balance of motorsports performance and street-legal reliability.
The Aston Valiant was born from Fernando Alonso's desire of owning a special version of the brand's V-12 powered, manual transmission coupe. A Formula One champion plus Aston Martin making a sportscar? One can only expect undeniably a head turner and powerful vehicle.
As per Road & Track, initially envisioned by Alonso alongside Aston Martin's personalized division, referred to as Q, the Valiant boasts a potent 735-horsepower, 555-pound-foot 5.2-liter twin-turbo V-12 engine coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Aston Martin Valiant features unique chassis adjustments incorporating motorsport-grade adaptive spool valve dampers and a focus on minimizing weight for excellent track performance and driving pleasure.
The report also shared that Marek Reichman, the executive vice president and chief creative officer at Aston Martin, describes the Valiant as a genuine thoroughbred designed for maximum enjoyment on the racetrack while remaining practical for road use.
The car draws evident influence from motorsport, showcasing its essence through bold, muscular design elements and a wealth of exquisite yet functional features.

The Aston Martin Valiant is not only a handsome car but also other special features worthy of the brand's name. As noted by MotorTrend, Aston Martin's latest creation, the Valiant, represents a leap forward in terms of weight reduction, enhanced power, and a heightened focus on track performance compared to its predecessor, the V-12-powered Valour.
Limited to just 38 units, all of which have already been sold despite a hefty price tag around $3 million per vehicle. The Valiant shares the same carbon-ceramic brake system as the Valour, featuring sizable rotors both front and rear.
Newton highlights that the key to the Valiant's improved handling lies in the integration of Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) shocks.
CarBuzz provided a peek into the interior of the Valiant. Designed strictly as a two-seater, the cabin is adorned with abundant carbon fiber elements, extending to the center console where a distinctive exposed mechanism for the manual shifter, custom-crafted for the Valiant, takes center stage.
The Sporting Recaro Podium seats with minimal padding (available in leather or Alcantara), these seats facilitate attachment points for four-point racing harnesses, connecting to the rear half roll cage positioned behind the passengers.
Moreover, the steering wheel in the Valiant stands out as a bespoke feature, deviating from the flat-bottomed concept to embrace a perfectly round design characterized by a small diameter, slim rim, and spokes devoid of any switchgear-an embodiment of unwavering focus on driving dynamics.
