Land Rover has released its new three Defender versions, 90,110, and 130.  These versions were made possible by working again with Dutch coachbuilder Heritage Customs. It is not the first time the company has worked to give the Land Rover Defender a refreshed look.

The Land Rover Defender 130 pickup boasts an extended body for a spacious interior.

Defender 130 Pickup, Valiance, Customizable

The Land Rover Defender 130 pickup Valiance promises a comfortable and enjoyable ride on expeditions. As reported by Autoblog, derived from the Defender 130 model, the pickup boasts a functional bed, a sports bar, and a side-hinged tailgate featuring prominent "HERITAGE" branding.

For those seeking personalization, a multitude of options await, from custom paint colors to interior trim choices. Various exterior decal packages are offered, complemented by revamped wheel designs between 20 and 22 inches.

For further customization, Heritage Customs presents an extensive array of off-road accessories like LED light bars, roof racks, and side steps to enhance the vehicle's rugged appeal.

Beginning with the X Dynamic SE trim level, every configuration kicks off with a choice between two engines specifically tailored for the European market. The lineup includes a standard 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged diesel straight-six engine producing 350 horsepower, alongside an optional 5.0-liter V8 supercharged engine that delivers a robust 425 horsepower for those looking for extra power.

As expected, all models come equipped with all-wheel-drive as a standard feature.

What Are the Other Features, Specs for Defender 130 Pickup, Valiance

Although not a direct replica, the Defender 90 Valiance did influence Heritage Customs in introducing their rendition of the Valiance pickup truck. For this vehicle, Heritage Customs used Defender 130 as the direct project.

As noted by Autoevolution, the customization primarily focused on reshaping the rear end of the vehicle to accommodate a pickup bed. While details on the SUV-to-pickup conversion process are not explicitly disclosed, it appears to involve cutting and restructuring the rear section behind the last row of seats to create the designated cargo area.

Despite these modifications, the fundamental shape and functionalities of the Defender remain unchanged, preserving its original essence. The starting point for this transformation is the Defender 130 X-Dynamic SE model, positioned just above the base S trim level.

How Much Does a Valiance Cost

Pricing for the Valiance reaches lofty heights, as Heritage Customs attaches a staggering price tag to this premium pickup. As reported by CarBuzz, Potential buyers can expect to invest approximately €155,000 or $166,200 for this model, surpassing the costs of an F-150 Raptor R or a fresh Range Rover Autobiography.

However, for those seeking a more budget-friendly option, the company offers an "All Black" variant on their website priced at a comparatively more accessible €142,561.98 or $152,900, which covers the expense of the Defender 130 used as the base vehicle.

To secure a build slot, a deposit of €15,000 or $16,000 is mandatory, with customers anticipated to cover 50% of the total expenses at the start of the construction phase. The remaining balance is settled upon the project's conclusion. While specific timelines for completion are undisclosed, Heritage Customs assures clients of regular updates via videos and photos to maintain transparency and engagement.
