Nissan Rogue Engine
As reported by AutoEvolution, regrettably, the Rogue Rock Creek model shares the identical 1.5-liter turbo engine found in all other variants for the 2025 lineup. Known as the KR15DDT, this three-cylinder engine is notably complex, boasting a unique compression ratio adjustment mechanism ranging from 8.0 to 14.0 based on demand.
The innovative VC-Turbo technology associated with this engine prompted federal scrutiny following reports of potential engine failures in December 2023.
