The 2025 Ford Explorer has been updated in both functionality and design.
As one of Ford's most treasured utility vehicles, the latest iteration of the Explorer is getting several updates, interior-wise. With a heavy emphasis on its productivity, the American automaker has upgraded the vehicle with a 12.3-inch driver information cluster, featuring navigation, BlueCruise activation, as well as speed and fuel indicators.
The add-ons include a standardized adaptive cruise control, heated seats and a trailer-tow package. The new Explorer also comes with two engine options: a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and the alternative 3-liter turbocharged V-6.

Automotive News has collected reviews of the all-new Explorer's interior, performance and BlueCruise driving assistance system, and so far many are impressed with the vehicle.
According to Mike Sutton of Car and Driver, the vehicle's climate controls are clearly labeled, highly intuitive and are always on display at the bottom of the infotainment system. The vehicle also notably comes with a Google Maps-based navigation system, Google Play store access and Google Chrome.
The 2025 model also features a Ford Premium Connectivity subscription, 5G connection, Wi-Fi and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Several reviewers also lauded the unit's convenience due to its storage space, ambient lighting and front seats with a massaging feature.
Interestingly, MotorTrend's Erik Johnson has dubbed the 2025 Ford Explorer as an improvement compared to previous versions in terms of performance.
"The Explorer is easy to place in your lane and park," Johnson said. "The steering is accurate and not too heavy."
Meanwhile, Perry Stern of J.D. Power and Associates commented that the BlueCruise system keeps the vehicle intact on the road while maintaining safety and distance from vehicles.
However, Stern remarked, "While BlueCruise operates hands-free, the driver's attention to the road is still needed."
