2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV Arrives With $60K Price Tag Despite Upgrades

Dodge has announced the pricing for the two 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV models.

Car and Driver reported Thursday that the Charger Daytona R/T will launch with a $61,590 starting price, while the 670-hp Scat Pack model will cost $75,185.

The new models will pack in significant improvements, performance-wise. Dodge said the Charge Daytona R/T will have a standard Direct Connection Stage 1 Upgrade to improve its horsepower output.

Meanwhile, the Scat Pack variant will have more to offer with its Direct Connection Stage 2 Upgrade. This model will come with a Track package, including six-piston and four rear brakes, a spoiler and dual-valve adaptive dampers.

The Scat Pack will also come equipped with 20-inch aluminum tires with thick 325/35R-20 all-season wheels. According to Dodge, the upgraded tires will allow the car to reach 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and a quarter-mile in 11.5 seconds.

The package also includes Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 summer tires, with the 305/35zr-20xl for the front and 325/35ZR-20 for the rear.

Dodge offers other packages for the Charger Daytona, including the Plus Group ($4,995) and Blacktop ($1,095). The packages will also provide various internal components such as gauge clusters, an 18-speaker Alpine sound system and charging pads.

As for external features, special LED headlights, glass roof, darkened wheels and exterior badging are to be expected.

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona will come with either a Level 2 charger or a $600 credit via Free2move Charge — a charging app from leading automaker Stellantis.

Apart from the two-door models, four-door Charger Daytonas will be released in 2025's first half. Additionally, petrol-driven Charger Sixpack vehicles will be produced in the second half of 2025.

Pricing for the six-cylinder Charger has yet to be announced.
