Nissan Introduces 2025 Kicks With $23,220 Staring Price After Major Overhaul

Nissan has officially introduced the pricing for its brand new 2025 Kicks after a major overhaul.

Earlier in March, Nissan teased the 2025 Kicks, which represents the new generation of its subcompact crossovers. This month, the leading automaker confirmed that the vehicle will have a starting price of $23,220 for its S-trim base model, as per Car and Driver.

Additionally, the vehicle's mid-trim SV will be valued at $25,070 while the SR trim will cost $27,570. The three trims can be set up with an all-wheel drive configuration on the S or SR versions ($1,500) and the SV version ($1,650).

The 2025 Nissan Kicks boasts a modern look, evident through its two-tone color scheme and unique grille. The outside also exudes a bold aura with its wheel arches and special accent lights on the front.

It will also come with an engine capable of putting 141 horsepower and a consistent automatic transmission for wheel power.

Interior-wise, the model features more space on its rear seats and cargo storage. Not only does the automobile offer more room, but also upgraded technology.  As standard, the vehicle comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen.

However, the SR version flexes two 12.3-inch display screens for the digital gauge cluster and an infotainment screen.

All versions are equipped with driving-assistance features and an optional ProPilot Assist function. Users can enjoy the top view with the car's panoramic sunroof and listen to music via a 10-speaker system.

In other news, speculations arose regarding Nissan's progress on its GT-R model. MotorTrend reported in June that Nissan was prioritizing battery technology advancements and waiting for the availability of enhanced solid-state batteries.

The manufacturer's endeavors hinted that the batteries would undergo testing in 2026 and that the production of the vehicles would begin in 2028.
