Lamborghini has officially transitioned its 2025 Temerario model into a V8 hybrid.
Car and Driver reported that Lamborghini has finally launched the Temerario, which is the successor to the Lamborghini Huracán. Compared to its longtime V-10 engine, the new version is now flexing a V-8 powertrain alongside three electric motors.
Exterior-wise, the Temerario flaunts the standard wedge shape of the Lamborghini and has a five-inch length difference from the Huracán. The vehicle also features daytime running lights, placed in the lower bumper, and flaunts an air tunnel.
The car's side includes an air intake that rests on ahead of the rear wheels. Hexagons are present on the rear end alongside its taillights and mounted exhaust pipe. Moreover, the Temerario features a wide diffuser and underbody fins.

The Temerario will also come with two paint hues, which are Blu Marinus and Verde Mercurius. Additionally, Lamborghini shared that over 400 colors and special liveries would be available on the automaker's Ad Personam customization division.
What makes the Temerario special is its upgraded engine, which is a V-shaped cylinder bank. The 4.0-liter V-8 would be a twin-turbo charge, sporting 789 horsepower ranging from 9000 to 9750 rpm. It is also capable of 538 pound-feet of torque with its 10,000 rpm eight-cylinder engine.
As for the Turbos, it can max out a pressure of 36.3 psi. The overall engine will also include a flat-plane crankshaft and titanium cod rods to reduce rotating masses. Lamborghini noted that weight was shaved off the vehicle's gearbox to allow faster shifts.
While the base horsepower is 789, the Temerario is able to produce more by adding three electric motors, putting the output to 907. The vehicle also features a 3.9-kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery can be replenished by an onboard charger for 30 minutes.
According to the automaker, the Temerario will be able to go up to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 213 mph. It would also offer three-wheel designs, with all choices sizing up to 20 to 21 inches.
The interior will include a livelier cabin compared to past Lamborghini releases, boasting 18-way ventilated seats, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, a built-in dashcam, a 9.1-inch screen and a separate 8.4-inch screen on the dashboard's center.
While the company hasn't announced the vehicle's cost yet, the 2025 Temerario is expected to launch with a starting price of $290,000 come 2025.
