Ram Introduces Lunar Special Editions for 2500 Power Wagon, Rebel HD

Ram has officially given Lunar Special Editions for its 2500 Power Wagon and Revel HD trucks. 

CarBuzz reported Tuesday that both Power Wagon and Heavy Duty vehicles will have Lunar packages containing Ceramic Gray paintwork and gloss black Lunar vinyl graphics. The two vehicles will also get 17-inch wheels and 33-inch tires.

The Lunar will implement body-color badging and premium LED lights, which will be placed on the car's front and rear sections. Adding to the exterior are the two mirrors for an efficient hauling process. The Power Wagon will be improved with a 2-inch lift.

The Power Wagon's Lunar package will come with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8, which produces 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle has the capability to tow material with an extent of 10,610 lbs.

Meanwhile, the Rebel HD will come equipped with the 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel engine. This engine houses 370 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque. Heavy Duty trucks will also have a payload of 1,960 lbs and a towing capacity of 14,900 lbs.

The HD will have a link-coil rear suspension system, which comes with an alternative air suspension. The automaker shared that the features will elevate driver comfort and level the truck when hauling a payload of 3,690 pounds.

Inside the vehicles, Ram has implemented Surf Blue Stitching to the cars' black leather. The automaker has acquired trim elements from TRX. The instrument panels, consoles and doors will also flaunt Twill Film accents.

Both vehicles will feature wireless charging pads. Alongside a special metal badge on the armrest captioning either "Power Wagon" or "Rebel."

The Power Wagon Lunar has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $75,205, while the Rebel HD will start at $85,490. The estimate will also exclude Ram's destination fee of $1,995.

Ram and Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell said that the Lunar packages will steer Ram's SportTruck leadership position.
