Chevrolet's Fourth-Generation Equinox Packs Advanced Tech in Compact SUV

Chevrolet has implemented upgrades for its newly redesigned Equinox.
Automotive News reported Wednesday that Chevrolet has unveiled the brand new Equinox variant, which has a starting price of below $30,000. Vice President of Global Chevrolet Scott Bell remarked that he intends to put the fourth-gen Equinox to rival any releases with its exterior and features.
Bell told the outlet that the segment is very "competitive," and there are so many alternatives for interested consumers, but the company is aiming to fill out some gaps in terms of preferences.

The General Motors plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, is in charge of the vehicle's production. The model would also be eligible for sale and reach dealers by October. When it comes to appearance, the revised Equinox looks muscular due to its showy front and wheel wells.
General Motors is currently working to lessen vehicle complexity within its roster. Chevrolet also decided to streamline the Equinox's trim options. The base LT trim has a starting price of $29,995.

It features a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that produces 175hp, a torque of 184 pound-feet for the front-wheel drive, and 203 for the all-wheel drive. Inside, an 11.3-inch infotainment screen is accompanied by an 11-inch driver information screen.
Jeremy Herman, the general sales manager of the Earnhardt Chevrolet in Chandler, Ariz., has reportedly sold several Equinoxes to buyers. Herman said that dealers should patiently wait for the RS and Active trims, which will arrive with new upgrades and color schemes.
Scott Wassell, the senior creative designer for Chevrolet, added that the company's new projects have received positive feedback. The company has also implemented inspiration from trucks into its releases such as the redesigned three-row Traverse.
The official also highlighted the Traverse due to its "tough, bold, and expressive" look.
