Audi has given the Q5 model upgrades in its appearance, interior and special features.
Automotive News revealed over the weekend that the third-gen Q5 midsize crossover will be the second model from Audi to implement the Premium Platform Combustion architecture.
As one of the 20 new model launches in 2024 and 2025, the new Q5 model rightfully receives upgrades on its own, marking it one of the automaker's top candidates for car enthusiasts. It was dubbed the best-selling vehicle in 2023 after securing 331,928 in sales, hence, the upgrade is not surprising.
The model will continue its production at Audi's plant in San Jose Chiapa, Mexico. Additionally, the automaker is also building a long-wheelbase version of the present-generation Q5 in Changchun, China.
The brand new model highlights more of its front end with a "single frame" grille, laying a unique look on its exterior. Audi noted that the outline of the new Q5 model would give the vehicle a full visual and wide stance during road trips.

Apart from the base design, the sporty S Line trim emphasizes the vehicle's body parts with matte anthracite chrome-look accents. On the opposite side, the rear features a light strip that "brings together the physical and digital worlds," according to the automaker. The vehicle will also come with six digital OLED panels.
For its interior, owners are in for a visual treat, as the Q5 implements a lounge-like atmosphere. The doors and armrests are embedded with fabric panels while the cabin promotes convenience with its storage and upholstery.
In the back seat, the row is completely adjustable, giving more opportunities to expand the space inside the cabin. The car can also hold up to a cargo volume of 1,473 liters. A luggage compartment is also included, allowing passengers to stow items in the rear cargo floor.
Finally, the all-new Q5 features an 11.9-inch digital cockpit and a 14.5-inch touchscreen display. Moreover, a 10.9-inch passenger display can also be availed upon purchase.
