Used Tesla Cybertruck prices are on the decline.
Forbes reported Monday that in early 2024, the Cybertruck market prices had quite a buzz due to sellers demanding over $200,000 for the vehicles. However, the used CT market has since experienced a nosedive, with $117,000 now being the current base price as of September.
CarGurus Director of Industry Insights and Analytics Kevin Roberts shared that the noise the limited Cybertruck models made earlier this year gave a "boost" to initial secondary market prices.
The outlet also shared that it was no longer needed for the CT market to meet pent-up demand and that Tesla Cybertrucks would not contain any more "cryptic delivery dates."
Forbes pointed out that Tesla tends to "adjust prices with short notice," suggesting that consumers should anticipate new updates and developments from the automaker's website, according to U.S. News & World Report Vehicle Testing Editor Zach Doell.
Meanwhile, car enthusiasts recently uncovered Tesla's new patent ahead of its Robotaxi's debut. The patent, which was leaked on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), showed that the automaker was planning to adopt a wireless charging system for the upcoming Robotaxis.
