The 2025 Bentley Flying Spur has arrived with a new V-8 engine.
Bentley's new hybrid has been introduced with a redesigned look and improved performance capabilities, MotorTrend reported Tuesday. The Flying Spur boasts a confident exterior, shown by its distinct grille and dark trim touches.
Touted as the automaker's most powerful sedan ever, the Flying Spur houses a 4.0-liter V-8 engine, with a 592-hp and 187-hp electric motor.
The engine also earned an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, as well as modes that can run up to 771 hp and 738 pound-feet of torque on all wheels.
The hybrid system implements the Pure EV modem, allowing the vehicle to drive 47 miles at a speed of 87 mph with an electric-only range. The vehicle can also be boosted with a range of 515 miles with a single tank.
Furthermore, the vehicle incorporates various modes such as E-Boost, Regen Braking and a Full Charge mode, enabling the V-8 engine to serve as a generator for recharging the vehicle's traction battery.
The interior features 3D diamond-quilted seats, a digital driver display and a rotating 12.3-inch screen. Owners are also welcome to enjoy the vehicle's sound system since the Flying Spur offers two choices of 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen or 19-speaker Naim setups.
