Tesla is looking into expanding into the Philippine automotive sector.
Teslarati shared recently that the automaker has hinted at the endeavor on its Careers website, which relayed positions that are Manila-based. The site mentioned key roles such as managerial positions in the Leads Generations Program, Store, Service and Deliveries.
Apart from these roles, Tesla included several job opportunities related to vehicle parts and services, such Admin & HR Business Partner, Order Operations Specialist, Tesla Advisor, Vehicle Technician, Customer Support Specialist and many more.
The job listings posted by Careers are specifically based in Taguig, Manila. One of its districts, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), is a high-end Metro Manila sector that houses well-known auto establishments for Porsche, Lamborghini and Audi.

Meanwhile, data platform JATO Dynamic shared insights into Tesla's current EV brand company status in Europe. According to its findings, BMW has replaced Tesla as the leading EV brand in Europe, with the automaker outselling the latter's Model Y with its iX2 compact crossovers.
Analysts have also shared their take on the sudden shift and pointed out issues with Tesla's lineup compatibility with the European automotive market and needs.
