Musk Touts Advantages of Tesla Semi All-Electric Truck Over Traditional Diesel Vehicles: ‘More Fun and Safer’

The advantages of Tesla's all-electric Semi have been brought up by its CEO Elon Musk.
Teslarati reported Wednesday that the insights were given at the IAA Transport Conference in Germany, where Musk highlighted how Tesla's electric Semis have the upper hand over traditional diesel vehicles.
The outlet also disclosed information regarding the Semi's production process and status. It claimed that a total of 50,000 units will be on the rollout after being manufactured in the automaker's Gigafactory Nevada facility.

Tesla also aims to develop new configurations for the Semi and claims the vehicle's efficiency would be around 100 kWh per 100 kilometers. The Semi's major contributor, PepsiCo also shared thoughts after driving some of the Semis during the pilot program.
Drivers from the organization believed that the Tesla Semi has more advantages than the traditional diesel vehicle. On X (Twitter), Musk claimed that the Semi offers more acceleration, uphill power and safety features.
PepsiCo said today that their drivers who operate the company's Tesla Semi trucks have reported that, after driving the electric truck, they don't want to go back to driving a diesel truck.
