One of BMW's inventories reportedly took a nosedive in its sales and public reception.
The BMW XM has been having difficulties since its production in December 2022, Motor1 said Wednesday.
The sales performance of the carmaker's SUV was slow at best, as this 2024, the company had only sold 307 XM vehicles throughout the third quarter. The results were significantly less than Q3 2023 when the vehicle sold 443 unit, showing a 30.7% drop.

The XM's sales also brought other slow-selling BMW vehicles to attention, such as the Z4, which sold over 543 units during the third quarter. The report also mentioned the BMW-owned Mini, which received a decrease of 33%, as well as the iconic 3 Series with a 13.7% dip.
Meanwhille, based on latest updates, the all-new 2025 BMW X3 comes with a sleeker design and is set to release in the final quarter. The car reportedly has a starting price of $50,675. It's the first BMW vehicle to feature the company's newest operating system, iDrive.
