Toyota has delayed its production plans in the United States.

Initially, the automaker planned to sell several electric vehicles in the U.S. However, production has now been pushed back, according to MotorTrend on Wednesday.

The delay reportedly occurred because Toyota was currently adjusting the design of its three-row EVs amid a sales slowdown of electric vehicles in the U.S., per  Bloomberg

The company reportedly had goals to manufacture three-row all-electric SUVs in Georgetown, Kentucky, in 2025. However, it was postponed in early 2026. Subsequently, a new all-electric SUV was set to be assembled in Princeton, Indiana.
