The Ford Expedition has received an off-road variant.
Ford introduced the 2025 Expedition Tremor on Friday, according to Top Gear. It marks Ford's first time to release an off-road version for the Expedition, and it is arriving with updated technology and exterior improvements.
According to the outlet, the vehicle has an upgraded engine, which creates 440 hp from its 3.5-liter Ecoboost V6. Additionally, the engine is capable of producing a torque of 510 pound-feet.
The vehicle comes with Raptor-style running boards, alongside a front skid plate, and will take elements from the Raptor for its chassis to carry out sturdiness. Ford also considered improving its performance on the road, as both suspension and power steering have been re-tuned.
Many updates are administered to the vehicle, but the highlight is the 24-inch panoramic driver display inside the car. Passengers and drivers can also enjoy the car's WiFi hotspot, thanks to the connectivity package. It also has the BlueCruise system, which applies a hands-free driving assist during highway trips.
A revision of the vehicle's design was also made to prioritize utility. This is evident on the Tremor's front and back mounts for placing mobile phones and a powered sliding center console.
