Japan has another solar-powered innovation to be released in the market by 2025. This car called the PUZZLE is a modified version of Japan's legendary tiny car. HW ELECTRO is responsible for one of the newest cars to watch out for.

HW ELECTRO is planning to bring its own version of a kei car to the US market soon. The PUZZLE, which can be described as more of a kei van than a traditional kei car, carry forward Japan's rich tradition of compact automobiles.
HW ELECTRO, with its ELEMO series, previously entered the Japanese market, introducing next-generation multi-purpose commercial EVs like ELEMO, ELEMO-K, and LEMO-L mid-size van. These vehicles aimed to reduce environmental impact and bolster disaster resilience.
The PUZZLE electric van continues this focus on disaster resilience, boasting features such as onboard AC outlets, USB ports, Wi-Fi connectivity, and emergency tools. Roof-mounted solar panels ensure functionality during prolonged power outages. Additionally, it comes equipped with a first-aid kit and a crowbar, offering extra leverage for addressing various emergency scenarios.
Does it possess another unique feature? Yes. While many vehicles in the United States already include AC outlets and first-aid kits, what sets the PUZZLE apart is its unique design approach. It positions these features on the exterior of the vehicle, making them accessible from outside the vehicle, thus enabling users to assist others in need.

The Unveiling, Latest Japanese Car to Reach the U.S
The Japanese car phenomenon, PUZZLE, from HW ELECTRO, made its US debut last week, signaling the brand's intent to penetrate the American market. Commercial sales of the electric van are slated to commence in 2025, underscoring a brief waiting period. Hsiao Weicheng, President of HW ELECTRO, emphasized the company's commitment to addressing environmental challenges and delivering innovative eco-friendly solutions for commercial vehicles during the unveiling event.

About HW ELECTRO
The Street reported that HW ELECTRO was established, just recently, in 2019. At the beginning of November the company applied for an IPO with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The move is intended for raising $17.25 million in gross proceeds.
Moreover, the company stated in its prospectus that, since the inception of its operation, it has been utilizing the customizability and adjustability of its electric light commercial vehicles to attract corporations in various industries and local governments in Japan with diverse departmental needs.
According to the filing, during the fiscal years ending on Sept. 30, 2023, and 2022, the company sold and delivered 66 and 16 electric light commercial vehicles to 15 and 11 customers, respectively. For the six months ending on March 31, 2023, and the fiscal year ending on Sept. 30, 2022, the company recorded net losses of approximately $5.9 million and $4.7 million, respectively.
