Toyota Launches New Face with Camry XSE for 2024 Cup Season

Toyota has really made racing fans excited with their brand-new Toyota Camry XSE race car, set to hit the NASCAR Cup Series in 2024. This cool Toyota comes with some special tech features and a look that's inspired by the 2025 Toyota Camry XSE, making sure the upcoming racing season is a blast.
Camry XSE for 2024 Cup Season: The Upgrade
According to Racer, the car boasts several notable features. These include a redesigned front fascia and upper grille slot, fresh character lines, hood duct exits, and distinctive C-shaped corner vents in the lower grille area. Additionally, the car's front headlights have been made slimmer and wider, while the taillights are now thinner.
This newly designed vehicle faithfully replicates the appearance of the 2025 Toyota Camry XSE production car. Toyota has announced its plans to field eight Cup Series teams in the upcoming season, with the addition of Legacy Motor Club's two-car organization for Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek.
Joe Gibbs Racing will continue to operate its four teams, featuring Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell, Martin Truex Jr., and Ty Gibbs, while 23XI Racing will have two teams, consisting of Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick.
Toyota's Victories
In the previous season, Toyota secured 10 race victories. Toyota's TRD president, David Wilson, pledged ongoing improvement on and off the track. According to him the Camry XSE race vehicle accurately reflects the all-new Toyota Camry's core design traits and that the business is excited to work with race team partners to maximize performance.
According to NCB Sports, Toyota Racing Development collaborated with Calty Design on the car's development to mirror the body styling characteristics of the recently unveiled 2025 Toyota Camry XSE. Notable new features of the Toyota Camry race car include a distinctive hammerhead styling on the front facia, an upper grille slot integrated with the updated slim and wide headlights, C-shaped corner vents adjacent to the larger lower grille, new character lines on the hood, and new hood duct exits.
The rear of the car features revised quarter panel styling and chamfered bumper corners on the back of the corner panels, along with the aforementioned thinner taillights.
TMNA group manager of motorsports Paul Doleshal was excited about the 2024 Camry XSE race car's premiere, praising Toyota's attention to detail. He congratulated TRD and Calty Design for providing a top-notch car for its team partners to win and win championships.
