With the much- awaited release of its EX90 model early next year, Volvo is poised to reinvent luxury electric SUVs. The EX90 is expected to revolutionize the market with its competitive price range of mid $70,000 to mid $80 ,000.
At the top of the Volvo SUV lineup, this three-row SUV boasts luxury materials, a distinctive appearance, and sufficient space for six or seven people.

Volvo has recently unveiled its latest addition to the electric vehicle market, the 2025 Volvo EX90 Electric Luxury SUV. For those eagerly awaiting this exceptional 3-row SUV, the good news is here: Volvo has disclosed its pricing, positioning it in the competitive mid $70,000 to mid-$80,000 range.

Being the flagship SUV in Volvo's esteemed lineup, the EX90 is not just about affordability; it promises to redefine the concept of luxury in the electric SUV segment. Building upon the innovative design cues initially showcased in the EX30.
This vehicle incorporates cutting-edge materials to craft a spacious, minimalist cabin capable of accommodating 6 to 7 passengers comfortably. One notable feature across all models of the Volvo EX90 SUV is their all-wheel-drive capabilities. Furthermore, buyers will have the choice of two performance options, each catering to different power preferences.
If one wants more power, they may choose Twin Motor Performance, which produces 496 horsepower. Its Twin Motor configuration gives a strong 402 horsepower. To cater to various tastes, Volvo will provide two trims for each performance variant, namely Plus and Ultra.
In terms of pricing, the Plus Twin Motor model boasts an attractive starting point at $76,695.While the Ultra model, with its added features, begins at $81,045. For those seeking enhanced comfort and luxury, captains chairs can be added for an additional $500.

According to Motortrend, the Ultra models also feature soft-close doors, laminated side window glass to enhance interior noise reduction. It boasts of power-adjustable front seats with massage capability, puddle lighting, and an air suspension system. Additionally, you can opt for a wool blend upholstery for the Ultra's interior, although it means sacrificing the power-adjustable side support seats upgrade.
Furthermore, for those craving the pinnacle of performance, upgrading to the Twin Motor Performance model is possible for an extra $5,000. Regardless of the chosen configuration, every EX90 model will come equipped with an 111 kWh battery, offering an estimated range of up to 300 miles on a single charge.
The EX90's competitive landscape shows that Volvo has properly positioned itself to compete with rival luxury electric SUVs. Models like the Kia EV9, starting in the low to mid $70,000 range, and the Rivian RS1, commencing at $78,000, ,000, are within the same price bracket. Similarly, the Lucid Gravity, with an anticipated starting price of approximately $80,000 is set to enter the market.
