Tesla is making swift progress on delivering its Cybertrucks. Numerous reservation users informed over the weekend that they were eligible to start the configuration process for the Foundation Series Cybertruck.

Cybertruck Delivery Coming Soon

As things progress quickly, selected individuals received notifications on Sunday. They were advised to get ready for Cybertruck delivery. Such announcement made many raise their eyebrows. During Cybertruck Delivery Day on November 30, Tesla did something different from how it usually delivers cars.

As reported in Autoevolution, in the past Tesla's first units were mostly given to employees. This time, however, the company invited celebrities and other influential people, and some of them drove away from the Austin event in this groundbreaking electric pickup.

The event itself witnessed the delivery of roughly a dozen units, thereby confirming earlier speculations regarding the limited availability of the Cybertruck at that juncture. Initially, this gave rise to concerns about potential production challenges that Tesla might be grappling with, particularly considering CEO Elon Musk's prior cautionary statements regarding the anticipated hardships of the Cybertruck production ramp-up.

Meanwhile, as reported in Yahoo Finance, Tesla has since managed to astonish observers by extending invitations to reservation holders, inviting them to configure their very own Foundation Series Cybertrucks. Insider information reveals that hundreds of individuals received these invitations, providing them with the choice between the Foundation Series Cybertruck AWD and the Foundation Series Cyberbeast.

Intriguingly, despite Elon Musk's forewarnings, it seems that for early Cybertruck customers, a delightful surprise might arrive a tad sooner than anticipated. Some of these early reservation holders promptly configured their vehicles, and within just a few days, they received emails instructing them to brace for imminent delivery.

Reports from the EV-focused Electrek substantiate this, with numerous prospective owners sharing their exhilarating updates on the Cybertruck Owners Club website. It's worth noting that previous Tesla vehicle reservation holders who received similar emails often had to endure several months of anticipation before taking possession of their coveted vehicles.

Nevertheless, an online tracking tool on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum points to delivery windows commencing as early as December. Evidently, a majority of these invitations pertain to orders for the exclusive "Foundation Series" truck, priced at $120,000. However, it appears that reservation holders retain the flexibility to configure the AWD and Cyberbeast variants as well.

Purchase Agreement for Cybetruck New Owners

Reports stated many people who had pre-ordered the Foundation Series found themselves in a difficult situation because they had already been notified to prepare for delivery. There have been numerous reports about emails being sent to these customers regarding their reservations for the Cybertruck.

Furthermore, they could lose their reservation and end up at the end of a long list of people waiting if they decide not to go through with the buy. It's interesting to know that more than two million people have already reserved the Cybertruck, and that number is growing every day.

Tesla has once again revised its purchase agreement for the Foundation Series Cybertruck, introducing a penalty for those who decide to resell their vehicle within the first year after delivery. Last month, Tesla initially announced a no-resale policy for the Cybertruck but reversed this decision just three days later.

Now, the updated purchase agreement has reinstated the no-resale clause, stipulating that purchasers must pay Tesla $50,000 or the profit from the sale if it exceeds $50,000 if they choose to sell their vehicle within the first year after purchase.
