Reports had it, consumers will have more options, including larger screens, brand-new security capabilities, and the intriguing outdoor-inspired ACTIV trim. With these latest developments the Equinox fourth generation faces a tough competition on the automotive market.
Nonetheless, it's up for the challenge. Better connectivity, standard safety features, and a rugged design that takes cues from Chevrolet's truck lineup set the 2025 Equinox apart. The upcoming 2025 Equinox model will feature design cues drawn from both the Chevrolet truck series and the 2024 Chevy Traverse. It boasts a width increase of 2.3 inches compared to its predecessor and offers three unique front fascia options - LT, RS, and ACTIV trims.

It remains uncertain whether this iteration of the Equinox will be the final one powered by gasoline, as GM is planning to introduce an electrified variant of the Equinox later this year, albeit with a slight delay.
Other Features: 2025 Equinox from Chevrolet
In the 2025 Equinox, adaptive cruise control, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel will be included as standard features. CarScoops revealed these features are in addition to its 11-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.3-inch infotainment system integrated with Google.
The improvements are responses to what clients are looking for especially the heated front seats. Previously, the adaptive cruise control only comes with the Equinox LT. It comes with $1,200 worth Safety infotainment package.
Equinox Sales in 2023
The Chevrolet Equinox, an SUV introduced in 2004, initially positioned itself as a midsize crossover and later transitioned into the category of a compact crossover. Reports about its popularity in the market was revealed by Motor and Wheels through its November article last year.
From 2012 onward, GM has consistently achieved annual sales of over 200,000 Equinox models in the United States. Moreover, in 2019, GM break records with 346,048 sales of its Equinox models, underscoring the popularity of the vehicle's new compact crossover design.
The preceding year, GM achieved sales of 332,618 Equinox vehicles, marking the first time that annual Equinox sales surpassed the 300,000 mark.
