The 2025 K5 remains an attractive alternative in its competitive market. It offers a wide range of options that include an optional all-wheel drive system suitable for cities like Chicago in the winter. Additionally, he stated that the enhancements introduced for 2025 strategically position the K5 to meet the needs of those requiring seating for five while desiring a vehicle that makes a bold statement.

The new model includes upgraded standard technology and a more potent base engine, boosting power by 11 horsepower compared to its predecessor. Refined stylistic changes make the entire K5 lineup look stronger. Additional improvements are made to the EX trim to further boost its visual appeal.

As per Cars.com the 2025 Kia K5 receives significant upgrades, notably in its exterior and interior features. At the front, new amber "Star Map" daytime running lights add a distinctive touch, complementing the redesigned front fascia. The rear features a continuous bar housing taillights that span across most of the rear deck lid, along with a standard integrated spoiler.

Inside, the K5 undergoes a minimalist interior redesign, integrating a 12-inch instrument panel and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen into a single curved panel angled towards the driver. A panel of controls for the climate control system and a physical knob for the stereo are conveniently located underneath, streamlining accessibility. The new center console improves passenger convenience and connectivity with a wireless charging pad, larger cupholders, and front and rear USB-C ports.

In 2025, the biggest change for the Kia K5 is its powertrain. Moreover, the current model year brings about understated enhancements, showcasing an array of added standard features throughout the lineup, particularly emphasizing the sought-after EX trim. Included as standard in the EX are a Bose Premium Audio System with Active Sound Design, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat featuring two-way lumbar support, Digital Key, a heated steering wheel, and power folding mirrors with integrated LED turn signals.
