Audi has initiated a recall for over 369 e-tron GT electric vehicles due to a potential battery issue posing a fire risk. This recall affects models produced between 2020 and 2024. Owners are urged to visit an authorized Audi dealership for inspection to rectify any identified defects, ensuring safety and compliance.
The ongoing Maserati recall, initiated in November 2021 due to fuel line sensor housing issues, continues into April 2024. This extension involves additional Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans produced between April and August 2021, expanding the affected population to 58 vehicles.
Ford Motor Co. has recalled a significant number of compact SUVs due to concerns about cracked fuel injectors, posing a risk of fuel leakage and potential engine fires. However, the recall remedy does not address the fuel leak issue directly.
Stellantis faces a federal lawsuit alleging that the Jeep Wrangler 4xe was marketed with a fire risk related to its lithium-ion battery packs. The lawsuit, involving nine complainants from seven states, claims that Stellantis should have been aware of the potential defect before launching the vehicles.
