In a recent development, Honda is offering a software upgrade for owners of 2018-2022 Honda Accords, enabling seamless compatibility with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This upgrade, priced at $112 plus installation fees, benefits approximately 631,000 eligible Accord owners.
“We need more affordable EVs.” Honda's CEO Toshihiro Mibe explained. Honda aims to revolutionize the entry-level electric vehicle market by 2030, with plans to expand its 0 Series electric lineup, offering affordable alternatives for popular models like the Jazz and Civic. The company unveiled a sedan concept set for production in 2026, followed by an SUV.
